Pediatric conditions, including cough, flu, fever and ear infection, are common presentations in a family practice. Oriental medicine has much to offer in the form of Chinese herbal patent medicines, which include strong antiviral, antibacterial, and medicines to transform and drain phlegm. In this workshop, Dr. Fratkin will describe his clinical approach to common newborn and pediatric conditions using Chinese herbal pills (all made at international standard GMP factories). A description of special characteristics of pediatric physiology according to traditional Chinese medicine will be included.
