This class examines how communities can create food and medical security by planting community gardens, living pharmacies, medicinal forests, and edible parks. We will focus on the development of the Learning Garden at Venice High School in Los Angeles, one of the country?s most successful school gardens, and learn how to duplicate this model in other communities.
