Glutathione has at times been called "The master antioxidant", "The toxic waste neutralizer of the body", "Nature's anti-aging agent" and "Food for the immune system". It is a key defense against disease, aging, cancer and environmental pollution. Dr. Gutman will explore the roles of GSH as an antioxidant, detoxifying enzyme and immune system modulator, and present both in vivo and in vitro studies demonstrating its effectiveness in both practical and potential clinical application. Given the enormous attention GSH has received over the past few years, many facts and fantasies exist regarding how to raise intracellular glutathione levels. These will be addressed as well as a host of clinical situations where GSH enhancement is recommended.
