Specializing in ethnobotany, Rocio has worked for 15 years in the tropical rain forests of South America and is highly recognized in her field for her ethnobotanical work. She has lived and studied with traditional peoples of the rain forest and brings an intimate understanding of their traditional ways to her teaching. In this workshop she shares the healing taditions of the shamans and their medicinal plants.
