All recordings from the 2019 Advancing Naturopathic Medicine Conference held on October 18-20, 2019.
We are excited to provide plenary lectures on a theme of the environment and its
impact on health. Our speakers from across the Western US and Canada include
a broad range of expertise and skill. Topics include the endocrine system,
immunity, mold and other areas relevant to clinical practice. We thank our
sponsors, Biotics Research and Designs for Health for their assistance in
bringing Drs. Robert Silverman and Anne Marie Fine to ANM. Friday breakout
sessions have been coordinated under the auspices of OncANP. The themed
breakouts present an option for doctors to hear on a variety of provocative
topics prevention, diagnosis and treatment options for NDs providing
complementary cancer care. Grand Rounds, an opportunity to engage with peers
in small groups, returns Saturday afternoon. Saturday morning we have
introduced the new Category G CE lectures, for doctors who need to complete
that category before the end of this CE cycle. Finally, we are welcoming back to
ANM Canada’s renowned ethnobotanist, anthropologist, explorer, author and
photographer, Wade Davis. Wade has published over 30 books and over 200
scientific and popular articles, hosts the National Geographic series Light at the
Edge of the World, has won numerous awards, honorary degrees and has spoken
four times at the TED conference. Wade Davis is our closing keynote, Sunday
morning.
MP3 IN USB FLASH DRIVES ~
One advantage in offering conference recordings on USB drives is that they are
compact, about the size of a tube of lipstick. They can hold a large number of
lectures, over 100 hours if needed. AND, they are quickly produced. Just plug the
drive into a USB port on your computer. As long as it has audio function, such as
Windows Media Player or RealPlayer, you can listen to lectures using your
computer’s speakers. Or, transfer the audio files from your computer to your
Apple iPod or similar personal listening device. Many newer car radios now have
USB ports which you can use to play your recordings from Tree Farm during your
commute.
