This presentation will be delivered in three parts. The first will encompass a review of lectin chemistry and interactions with the digestive tract. The second portion of the lecture will review the classifications of the different blood types (anthropologic and secretory differences) and experimental evidence supporting it. The third portion will be a discussion of implementing Blood Group Serotyping in the physician's practice and the presentation of case studies.
