Dr. Shihata will discuss the history and evolution of the FemCap, and how it works in preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. He will show statistics supporting FemCap?s effectiveness, compare the safety, effectiveness and acceptability of the FemCap and alternatives (e.g., hormonal contraceptives, diaphragm, condom and IUD).
