Herbs and nutrition are essential support for anyone struggling with cancer. Nevertheless, barriers remain to the successful integration of herbs into support protocols. What are our key strengths as herbalists in this context, and what can we offer our clients? What does the research say about risks, benefits, and possible interactions with modern treatments? How can we streamline bone broths, powders, teas and tinctures for the greatest possible effectiveness when our clients are often struggling for time and energy? Come explore the answers to these important questions in the context of four different types of cancer, at different stages, and with different needs: breast, brain, colon, and ovarian malignancies will serve as cases studies and anchor our clinical discussion. While they all share a core protocol, we will look at specific modifications too.
