Part I ~ Molecular markers, now referred to as the 6th vital sign in oncology, will be discussed as related to breast cancer etiology and pathogenesis. Markers such as Interleukin 6, c- peptide, veg-F, IGF-1, genomics, oncoDX will be discussed in terms of their role in the pathophysiology of breast cancer.
Part II ~ Molecular markers as therapeutic targets will be discussed. Indications and use of targeted natural therapies will be reviewed.
