This session will review infectious conditions which manifest in syndromes of the heart, pericardium and great vessels. A review of the clinical presentation, diagnosis, integrative treatment and essential referrals relevant to infectious heart conditions will be discussed, including pericarditis/myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, rhythm disturbances, valvular disease and vessel disease caused by common infectious agents.
