Trapped between the British Army and the Delaware River, Washington tricks the enemy again and disappears with his army. Leaving Cornwallis to attack an empty town, the Continentals then move on to attack the British at Princeton. Was it a lucky shot, or did providence direct the aim of a cannon ball which struck nobody, and did no significant damage, but convinced the Redcoats to throw down their guns and surrender?
