Many general family practice and primary care clinicians are not a cancer patient?s oncology management practitioner, but nonetheless find themselves in a position in which they are providing ongoing health care for patients who are about to begin chemotherapy, still on their chemotherapeutic regimen or have recently discontinued. This lecture will focus on the essentials of common chemotherapeutic regimens for common
cancers including drug classifications, indications, contraindications, short and long term side effects and special considerations.
