In 1970, a handful of women joined forces to tackle the ubiquitous problem of compulsive eating and negative self-image. Helping people emerge from the destructive cycle of dieting and binging, this group has now grown into an international organization. Conducted by the authors of the best-selling books, "Overcoming Overeating" and "When Women Stop Hating Their Bodies," this workshop is presented to take participants in the program to the next level of success. It is designed for those who are continuing with the Overcoming Overeating approach to give up dieting, cure compulsive eating and body hatred.

These recordings were made at workshops sponsored by The Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at The University of Texas at Austin and Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, Washington.

Carol H. Munter and Jane R. Hirschmann are psychotherapists in New York City. They are authors of WHEN WOMEN STOP HATING THEIR BODIES (Fawcett), and OVERCOMING OVEREATING (Fawcett).
