This course is full of new content, research updates and breaking news in primary care areas of women?s health including clinical nutrition, nutraceuticals, botanicals, fish oils, pain/inflammation, RA, psoriasis, SIBO, inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic syndrome, hypothyroid, oral health, and integrative medicine treatment plans utilizing pharmaceuticals. Our primary care for women course is suited for the practitioner who is working with or wants to work with women and wishes to develop their expertise in the use of evidence based botanical, nutritional and hormonal options, integrating select conventional medical treatments, and enhance their skills in evaluation and management. We are extremely thrilled to have an amazing collection of expert faculty and researchers for this high caliber seminar. We have two returning nationally well-known speakers, Holly Lucille, N.D., R.N. and Alex Vasquez D.O., N.D., D.C. Dr. Lucille will offer her entertaining and knowledgeable recipe of content in some of the controversies on hypothyroidism on underlying causes and influences, testing and treatment. Dr. Vasquez brings his multidisciplinary and sophisticated integrative clinical approach to two very important autoimmune disorders, psoriasis and RA. Jeremy Appleton N.D. is new to our faculty, but not new to many alternative practitioners familiar with his writings and educational presentations. His expertise is his timely and up to date knowledge on botanical and nutritional research with a focus on newer therapies to the market place and clinical practice. Steven Sandberg-Lewis, N.D., D.H.A.N.P. also new to our faculty, has been a professor at National College for many years, and has made his mark with his expertise in gastroenterology. I think his lecture on SIBO, will be especially helpfully to attendees and their ability to help those very complicated chronic undiagnosed GI patient cases. Ronald G. Reichert N.D. and Martha E. Rich, DMD are also new to our program. Dr. Reichert will highlight some new novel natural therapies for managing metabolic syndrome. Dr. Rich is well-known locally for her progressive integrative dental practice and in this lecture, will enhance our skills in diagnosing oral health issues and perhaps more importantly, enhancing our clinical skills in using oral health issues to better reduce risk and prevent/manage serious systemic diseases. Tori Hudson, N.D. brings her depth and breadth of knowledge to update us in the more advanced clinical uses of EPA/DHA blend and dosages in chronic health problems as well as her other lecture on integrative uses and sample integrative treatment plans of select compounded and conventional Rx and OTC medications. We welcome our new speakers and welcome back our returnees. It is a rare opportunity to be educated by this fantastic group of speakers.
