One of the main tools in the medicine bag of a traditional Haitian healer is his or her intuition. People from "developed" countries raised in a scientific culture which doubts and analyses question everything, often tripping themselves up with their intellects. The Haitian healers do not need to justify what they intuit. "Your body told me to do this", they say. The main difference between Afro?Caribbean traditional healers and people from our culture is that they believe their intuition to be real. This is a class on integrating intuitive wisdom into our healing practice. It will show how intuition works and how to develop and rely on it.
