A growing body of evidence demonstrates that early environmental and nutritional exposures, including in-utero, can have long-term consequences
on later health including increased risk for osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, obesity and certain cancers. Chronic stress, patterns of disordered
eating and deficiencies of certain key nutrients have all been implicated with detrimental outcomes for both mother and child. This session will
discuss the current state of the evidence for lifestyle, nutrition and dietary supplements in optimizing the experience experience of pregnancy and lactation for both maternal and infant health.
