DESCRIPTION: Cardiac Glycosides, amines and steroids occurring naturally in plants will be reviewed and discussed in terms of integrative approaches to cardiovascular complaints will be detailed. Evidence-based therapies that integrate these plant compounds with nutritional medicine and amino acids will be exemplified.
OBJECTIVES: Attendees will solidify understanding of the most well researched and used alternative and nutritional compounds used to treat common cardiovascular complaints.
