Clinical use of herbal medicines within the naturopathic profession is extremely eclectic. This presentation examines herbal precriptions for three chronic conditions--congestive heart failure, chronic active hepatitis and depression. Panelists are naturopathic physiians representing different orientations toward herbal medicines. They will describe herbal prescriptions for these conditions including appropriate dosage and issues regarding contraindications and safety.
