Dr. Carole Meredith will provide an overview and history of genetic transformation in Vitis. A panel of experts will discuss the readiness of importers and exporters to accept wine made with genetically modified grapes and/or yeast. In addition to technical overviews, the panel will discuss potential impacts on international wine trade.
