Foundational Movement (FM) is a method of exercising that uses muscles and gravity to generate the resistance necessary to recover and enhance structural integrity. Because this blend of martial arts, gymnastics, and common sense can be applied in different ways, with variations of intensity, it is appropriate for everyone, regardless of age or health status. FM is simple to learn and requires no equipment or special settings. It is an ideal outpatient educational tool for the naturopathic physician who considers structural fitness an important part of their practice.
