Over the past twenty years medical marijuana has been adopted by several states to assist those with chronic medical problems to enhance their quality of life and manage their symptoms with few side effects. The use of medical marijuana is becoming a more common treatment for a variety of chronic medical conditions across the country. This class will review the common clinical benefits, a discussion of the scientific literature, and provide an integrative approach as you work with each client. As a family physician in Maine, I will share with you my experience on this topic gathered over the last 15 years.
