An introduction to energy medicine will be followed by a description of the living matrix. This is defined as the continuous molecular fabric of the organism, consisting of fascia and other connective tissues, extracellular matrices, trans-membrane links (integrins), cytoskeletons, nuclear matrices and genetic material. We discuss the relationships between biochemical and bioenergetic communications and regulations, matrix detoxification, energetic diagnostic and treatment systems, and the inflammation hypotheses of disease.
