Dr. Stansbury will review the major plant compounds including carbohydrates, gums, mucilage, flavonoids, cardioglycosides, phenolics, saponins, lignons, terpines, alkaloids and other important constituent groups. Plants containing significant compounds and their medicinal significance will be reviewed.
