This intensive details the specifics of integrated medicine for girls at menarche, women in their reproductive years, menopausal concerns, and women elders. In the first half we?ll discuss childhood obesity and effects on sex, HPV, PMS, dysmenorrhea, safe herbs for common problems in pregnancy, breastfeeding, and well baby care. After a break we?ll explore menopause with attention on prevention of osteoporosis, heart disease, and breast cancer. Throughout the sessions, the role of nutrition and supplements is emphasized along with herbal medicines.
